Hiatus

So, obviously, I have not posted in many weeks. My computer broke just as J hit his stride writing his dissertation. Not only did I lack even the smallest amount of writing time, I also lacked the means with which to write.

The big updates? J finished his dissertation. A brilliant finish, actually. I am still wondering how we got through those last few grueling weeks. He defends on the 13th of April, which can not arrive soon enough. The boys are so proud of “Dr. Dad.”

We are also pregnant. Of course.

#4 is due this fall and we are THRILLED and in a state of curious wonder over what it must be like for a child to be born outside of grad school. J won’t be grading homework or writing papers while I am pregnant or in labor or in post partum healing. Amazing…
